Dr. Peter Doherty earned his PhD in Counseling Psychology from the United States International University in San Diego, CA. He also has a master’s degree is science with a major in pastoral counseling. Dr. Doherty has been a psychologist since 1997 and has worked in both mental health and education, including teaching for 23 years at St. Mary’s University in Calgary. During his tenure at Calgary, he became very involved with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and was committed to helping families function and be healthy as a critical part of a happy and fulfilling life.
