Dr. John C. Wildgoose, Jr., earned a PhD in Psychology and Counseling from Regent University, along with bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Caribbean Nazarene College.
An educator, psychotherapist, and psychology consultant, Dr. Wildgoose brings nearly two decades of experience in secondary and tertiary education in The Bahamas. His expertise includes learning science, training, academic support, psychoeducational assessment, and student development.
In his clinical and consultative roles, he has provided psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, and has developed targeted, data-informed interventions to support organizational effectiveness, personal development, resilience, student well-being, and academic success across diverse sectors. Dr. Wildgoose is also certified in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery, with experience applying trauma-informed approaches in crisis and post-disaster contexts.
His approach integrates principles from psychology, education, and learning science, helping diverse learners achieve academic and professional success in demanding environments.
