Dr. Noto is a board-certified internist and medical educator with extensive experience in academic medicine, clinical care, and physician training. His career spans nearly two decades in academic and hospital-based medicine, including faculty appointments at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Elmhurst Hospital, where he also served as Internal Medicine Clerkship and Sub‑Internship Site Director and later as Associate Program Director of Education.
In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Noto has maintained an active clinical practice, most recently providing primary care for members of the Local 3 Electrical Workers Union, with a focus on metabolic disease and obesity management, and delivering virtual care in a weight loss medicine setting. He has been a long‑standing instructor and content creator for Kaplan Medical USMLE review courses and is a co‑author of Kaplan Step 1-3 review books. A graduate of SUNY Stony Brook with honors in biochemistry, he completed his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Noto has received numerous awards for excellence in teaching, humanism, and service, reflecting his enduring commitment to medical education, mentorship, and patient‑centered care.
