Dr. Cesar Barrabi, Assistant Professor of Physiology in the Department of Medical Education, serves as the Unit Director for the Endocrine and Renal units in the pre-clerkship program. He teaches across multiple units, including Molecules to Medicine, Cardiovascular, Respiratory, and Endocrine. With academic training from Florida International University and Wayne State University, and prior teaching experience in advanced anatomy and physiology at the University of Louisville, Dr. Barrabi brings a strong foundation in medical education. His interests include diabetes public health research, and he is an active reviewer for AJP – Advances in Physiology Education. A member of the American Physiological Society, he is committed to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment while delivering dynamic, high-quality physiology education
