Dr. Alfredo Mena Lora received his medical degree from Ibero-American University. He currently serves as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago, the medical director of the Clinical Trial Unit with a focus on minority community participation at Saint Anthony Hospital, and is the program director of the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Mena Lora was nominated and selected as the featured editor for February 2022 of Infectious Diseases Society American Medical Education Community of Practice.
