The UNH Experience
UNH is a Carnegie Classification R1 research university, bringing in over $250 million in research funding in FY24 through partnerships with institutions including NOAA, NASA, the Department of Defense, the National Science Foundation, and the National Institutes of Health. Students gain hands-on experience through internships, research, study abroad, and clinical exposure throughout their undergraduate years.
As with every APMD partner, UNH students also get clinical exposure through WAUSM’s partner hospitals, a compressed six-year timeline, and WAUSM’s residency-focused career mentorship. See the Overview and How It Works pages for what’s consistent across the whole pathway.
For full baseline application requirements and international visa timing, see the Admissions page. For questions about transfer credit or anything not covered here, see the FAQ.
