Jenica Chambers, PhD

Dr. Jenica Chambers earned her PhD in Pharmacology from Duke University and a BA in Biology and Chemistry from Williams College. With extensive experience in preclinical medical education, she has taught pharmacology across multiple organ systems for medical students in the first two years of training, incorporating active-learning strategies such as problem-based and team-based learning. She has also played a key role in assessment development and in mentoring students to support their academic progress and professional growth
Previously, Dr. Chambers served on the faculty at Ross University School of Medicine and the University of Medicine and Health Sciences. She has contributed to institutional governance through service on promotions, assessment, and review boards and holds certifications in medical education and team-based learning. Recognized for her excellence in teaching, Dr. Chambers has also published peer-reviewed research in molecular pharmacology.
