Dr. Ahmed Elakil completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Calgary in Canada. He also completed his neurosurgical-oncology postgraduate training at the University of Miami. During his residency, he received his MBA from Cornell University. Dr. Elakil is currently the Chief of Neurosurgery at Insight Hospital and Medical Center and has been awarded more than 20 awards in national and international neurosurgical meetings.
